17/9/05 I am wondering if anyne has any information on one of the old local families linked to my family tree . The name is the Meads family and for a long time they were yeoman farmers in the area. My particular interest is in John Meads family. He was born in Snitterfield in 1725.Any help would be appreciated. My email address is Shirley.g.Smith@Blueyonder.co.uk 92

Hi Shirley Your posting come up in a search I did on the Meads Family. I am interested in tracing the links back from the Meads family in New Zealand. This has proved to be quite difficult as the names we have are John who was the father of Joseph. I am quite happy to share gedcoms and information. Regards Warren Meads Warren@The-meads.com 121

Hello, I have a connection with a Medes family; Sarah Medes marrying George Gibbs in 1755 Snitterfield. Also interested in the Gibbs family of Snitterfield. nlhsmith@blueyonder.co.uk 590

Thomas Smith b 1796 Travelling Confectioner, wife Elizabeth, sister Sophia, and children Maria, Susannah, Thomas, Elizabeth, Rebecca and Mary Ann found in 1841 Census for Snitterfield. My Gt. Grandmother was Susannah Amy Johnson b. 1853 Studley, Warks married William Johnson of Redditch - her mother Jane Smith b. 1825 Snitterfield. dau. of above Thomas Smith. Any info on this family? or their connection with the Fairs. They later moved to Warwick, St. Mary - Bowling Green Street. Census of 1861. Julie Kinloch Australia LOYC7U 635
