Snitterfield Garden Club
Annual General Meeting and Produce Show 2004

Enthusiastic members attended the Snitterfield Garden Club's 11th AGM and Produce Show on Tuesday 7th September 2004. After highlighting the year's programme of excellent speakers and social events, the chairman congratulated and thanked the Treasurer, Secretary and Committee for their tremendous support and culmination of efforts enabling the club to run smoothly and successfully. The annual membership fee remains at £6 only, because of the profits made from the raffles and plant stalls during the year.

Viv Bainbridge was made an Honorary Member in recognition of her invaluable contribution to the Club throughout the years.

A new challenge cup generously donated in memory of Vic Rawlings by Jan and her family will be presented for " Best Rose in the Show".

Duncan Parker and Mary Gleaves were elected onto the Committee.

Meanwhile, Mr. Brian Cook judged the Produce Show and afterwards commented on the overall high standard of entries. The children's section attracted some delightful innovated vegetable creatures. In fact they were so good, it was decided to give everyone a prize!.
