PARISH CHURCH RESTORATION

We are privileged to have a beautiful, historic, 900 year old Grade 1 listed building in our village (the only building so listed in the village) going back to medieval times and having associations with Shakespeare, the Phillips and Coventry families.

Unfortunately the building is crumbling and in need of urgent restoration.

We have a one off opportunity to put this right. English Heritage has offered us £69,000 on condition that we raise £37,000 within a year.

Do you want this unique building to crumble? It is a prominent feature of the village and used by most people at some time for weddings, funerals, concerts and Christmas events.

In order to hand this legacy to future generations we are looking for any contribution you can make.
