| 07. PLANNING MATTERS |
| Applications |
| (a) |
Mr. Page |
Single storey extension |
06/00392/FUL
|
| Submission | Support
- the extension will not impact upon the neighbouring properties, nor
the street scene Comment - it is felt that that this property has now reached the maximum development and that no further extension should be permitted |
| (b) |
Mr. & Mrs. J.
Wiginton |
Increase in size of proposed extension to agricultural building to form museum granted planning permission |
05/02524/FUL
(d. 4th Nov 2005) 06/00367/FUL |
| Submission | Support - the applicant has obtained additional exhibition material and the expansion is to cater for younger visitors |
| (c) |
Mr. G.H.Jervis |
Retrospective Planning Approval for pitched roof to conservatory |
06/00554/FUL
|
| Submission | Object-
the proposal is clearly in conflict with COM12, bullet point 2 of Stratford
on Avon District Local Plan. Also, the Snitterfield Village Design Statement,
page 8 and Snitterfield Parish Plan, page 20, bullet point 4 The conservatory roof impacts upon the street scene and the adjacent terrace cottages; it is quite prominent at night An additional window has been put in which overlooks the neighbouring property 'Little Frogmore' - a Condition should be made to use obscure glass to reduce the overlook and loss of privacy This is a retrospective planning application, which is completely at odds with planning permission 05/00845/FUL, which this Council supported |
| (d) |
Mrs. G.Hillier |
Pitched roof extension to side |
06/00538/FUL
|
| Submission | Support - the extension will have little impact upon the neighbouring properties |
| (e) |
Mr. D.S.Hayer |
Extension to provide two no. additional bedrooms and en-suite at first floor level |
06/00566/FUL
|
| Submission | Support
- the house stands alone by the A46 and the extension to the existing
narrow building will improve the property No impact on neighbours, nor street scene |
| (f) |
Mr. S.Freeman |
Renovation and conversion of listed threshing barn and adjoining barns to create main farm dwelling |
06/00654/FUL
and 06/00655/LBC |
| Submission | The
Parish Council is supporting this application, because they wish to see
the barns retained and used to support the fruit farm business, hopefully
increasing the employment opportunities in the Parish This proposal must comply with the Design Statement guidelines for the preservation of the building architectural features (page 8). The proposal also complies with COM17 Rural Employment and CTY2 Re-use of rural buildings The Council feels that the demolition of part of the North-western elevation (the lean-to) should not be permitted as it changes the character of the building We would like to request, in the Conditions, that the barn, when converted, be solely used to support the agricultural activities of the Fruit Farm and not be sold on open market |
| (g) |
Meadow Quality Ltd |
Minor amendment to elevations and allocation of internal space in variance of Condition 5 of 05/00082/FUL |
