3. ANNUAL RETURN
The Clerk submitted the Annual Return 2003/2004, together with the unqualified audit opinion.
Proposed councillor Mrs. Morlidge, Seconded Councillor Stammers
'that the Annual Return 2003/2004 be received'

4. GRANTS/DONATIONS
It was agreed to make a grant to the Village Hall Management Committee in the sum of £2,000, inclusive of the total Investment Income for the current financial year.

The following donations were agreed for the current financial year under Section 137, Local Government Act, 1972

Parochial Church Council £200
Methodist Church £150
'Snipe' Magazine £1,500
'Link' Magazine £300
Warwickshire Crimestoppers £100
Dedicated Air Ambulance £100
Conservation Committee £100
Sports Club £2,000

Total amount of donations made was £6,450

No donation was made to the Winged Fellowship Trust

5. BUDGET AND PRECEPT

The Clerk submitted details of estimated income and expenditure to the end of the current financial year for consideration

Estimates were set for income and emuenditure for the financial year 2005/2006

Provision was made for expenditure on the 'Smartwater' project, Cemetery refurbishment and the Parish Plan.

The need to plan for expenditure on an additional traffic calming scheme, street cleaning and increased street lighting was agreed

Proposed Councillor Mrs. Morlidge, Seconded Councillor Collett
'that the Parish Precept be set at £20,000 for the financial year 2005/2006'

So resolved, Councillor Stammers dissented

There being no further business, the Chairman declared the Meeting closed at 10.05 p.m.
