| (a) | Public Footpaths |
| Councillor
Jones reported that the County Council Ranger had agreed that Public Footpath
SD141c was no longer safe for public use. The legal team had taken out
an emergency closure notice and this had been posted at the footpath.
The County Council wold give further consideration to future action. Councillor Jones reported that, with regard to the Public Footpath by Bushes Farm, Bearley Road, the County Council had now undertaken to carry out remedial work in early 2008 |
| 05. | TO RECEIVE COMMENTS/OBSERVATIONS BY COUNTY AND DISTRICT COUNCILLOR |
| The Chairman reported on certain items which had been passed to him verbally by Councillor Hobbs |
| (1) | The District Council was considering an extension to the Refuse Collection by providing an additional 'wheelie bin' for recycling items not at present subject of kerbside collection. |
| (2) | The County Council had set money aside for a Flood prevention Programme. This would include roadside flood measures, e.g, opening grips and gullies. |
| The Chairman
added that Severn Trent Water had surveyed the entire sewage system in
the village. They were satisfied that it was in good order, but advised
that it did not have capacity for additional housing development. The District Council did not have the financial resources to give assistance. The Chairman undertook to follow up proposed measures with the Environment Agency. |

| 09. | CARBON REDUCTION PROJECT |

Councillor Jones reported that recycling bins would be placed outside the Village Hall at the start of December for a 3 month period. There would be a rota of volunteers with the task of keeping the area tidy. |

a copy of the Village Hall accounts 2006-2007, which had been audited |
| 11. | APPLICATION TO ERECT SHED ON ALLOTMENT |
|
The Clerk submitted
a written request by Judith Walker for permission to erect a 6ft. X
4ft. shed on Allotment No.1. He said that it was made in accordance
with Condition 5 (f) of the Tenancy Agreement. |

Said that
she was aware of an amended Planning Application in respect of Change
of use for premises by Northern Bypass at Ingon Lane. She expressed
a wish to have sight of the application at an early stage. |
| Councillor Jacobs |
| Referred
to the 'Moving Pictures' project and said that this had now received full
approval from the District Council. He had attended a training programme
and would act as representive for Snitterfield. He said that 2 films would
be available each month. Setting the price of tickets at £4.00 wouls
necessitate 16 people to attend in order to break even. he anticipated that the first selection wold be available in February 2008 and he would be seeking volunteers to assist at the showing. |

what progress had been made in obtaining quotations to carry out remedial
works to the fencing in the Small Playing Field The Clerk said that he had met with a second contractor on site, but he had not yet received his quotation. He undertook to follow up |

his concern that the Rememerance Day Parade
in Snitterfield had been cancelled. |

| Referred
to the Appeal on a Planning Application for a gypsy site at Warwick Road,
Black Hill. He said that 28 days had elapsed since the
Hearing, but the Inspector had not yet handed down his determination.
Reported that a Fire Risk Assessment of the Village Hall had been completed and he thanked Councillor Jones for his valued assistance. An Action Plan had been developed and he recommended that progress be regularly monitored. |

| Lisa Lamb Expressed her appreciation of the Bonfire Evening put on by the Sports Club. She said that it was well organised and well attended, even by people from outside the village. The event had generated a good revenue and the organisers were to be congratulated. Reported the death of Eileen Booth, a well known and energetic parishioner |
