3. MINUTES
The Minutes of the Meeting held on 13th September 2004, having been previously circulated, were agreed and signed by the Chairman after the following amendment had been made
'Item 10 Provision of Space in Cemetery for Cremated remains'
Delete last line and substitute
'it was agreed to proceed with this suggestion'

4. MATTERS ARISING

(a) Transfer of Land at Cemetery
It was reported that Councillor Fitchford and Councillor Stammers had attended a site meeting with
Mr and Mrs Rendell.
The revised route of the footpath had been agreed.
It was also agreed not to accept the offer of transfer of ownership of the adjacent section of land.
This course of action was confirmed

(b) Moles at War Memorial
It was noted that contact had been made with the contractor and he would attend to the problem as soon as possible

(c) Payment of Utility Services to Village Hall
Councillor Jacobs said that he would be attending a meeting of the Village Hall Management Committee on 12th October and would present a copy of Model 'A' Trust Deed for consideration.
The Clerk said that he would circulate supporting information from the Rural Community Council to Councillors and the Management Committee in due course.

(d) Car Transporters
It was noted that enquiries were being made by Councillor Hobbs.

(e) Surface Water - Ingon Lane
It was noted that the matter had been reported to the County Council by Councillor Hobbs for attention.
Councillor Stammers reported that gullies in the village had recently been cleaned out.

8. SNITTERFIELD SPORTS CLUB

Councillor Stammers reported that he had attended a meeting of Snitterfield Sports Club on 5th October. He said that a Committee was being formed, limited by guarantee. An application would be made for charitable status.

Amongst matters discussed were a diary of future events, annual sporting activity day and implementation of the
Disability Act.

The subject of the possible lease of the Youth Club premises was considered and the procedure was outlined.

Permission was requested to position a container adjacent to the premises in which to store equipment etc.

It was also requested that any remaining monies of the Cricket Club, which had been deposited with the Parish
Council, should be paid over to the Sports Club.

9. TO RECEIVE COMMENTS/OBSERVATIONS FROM COUNCILLORS

Councillor Stammers

Asked about the date of delivery of the new notice board
The Clerk said that delivery should be anticipated in December

Retorted that the road sign in Bell Lane had been damaged
The Clerk undertook to follow up

Submitted files apertaining to the Hales Trust which he had received from Mr. George Moore
The files were passed on to Councillor Pitchford for perusal

Councillor Mrs. Mortlidge

Raised the matter or renumeration to Mr. Bob Foster for his work in carrying out the internal audit of the Council's accounts.
It was agreed to confirm a suggested sum at the next meeting
