A tough match ensued against Harbury on Sunday afternoon with some first class tennis on display in both first rubbers. Paul J and young Will took the second pairing to 3 sets narrowly losing out but some useful experience gained by Will and a 'first league point' cannot be far away. Our top pair, Chocie & Clive worked their socks off once again and looked likley winners for much of the second set but Harbury forced a tie break and narrowly secured the rubber. There were some great rallies in this match but it seemed that we just lost out on a few critical points on shots that we normally would nine times out of ten drive home. But, there was nothing wrong with the determination and effort that both pairs showed on the courts. In the second rubbers it was obvious that the first games had taken their toll and the number one pair was too strong for Paul & Will. However a much tougher conquest took place on Court 2 where Clive & Chocie were prepared to be carried out on their shields!... read more |

Hi. Nice forum design. Okay, I need your advice. So, I wanna make online-shop, and I am looking for site template. Can you advice some online place or other resource where I can find many site templates? It would be better if it will be free:) I think many of us have personal sites, do you design it yourself? Best regards, Bill. |

Their is no truth that the current captain of the mens' 'B' team has been desperately trawling the surrounding villages checking for tennis talent prior to the transfer deadline. Additionally, the chairman has indicated his full support for the current team captain and is confident that the points will be attained in the second half of the winter league season!...............oh dear! |

Pershore have got a variety of offers on at the moment to encourage greater use. On Sat 27th Jan if you watch the doubles match v Solihull (5pm to 8pm) you can play afterwards for free. Alternatively you can book for £10 per hour at other restricted times. Call 01386 556677. Amazingly I don't have a web address. |

I think we should have a members links page. The web designer to this site, Rob, has re-drafted my own site into a format which (hopefully) makes it more likely to be found by a search engine, but the more links the better, so here goes, http://www.factoringpartners.co.uk |

Order is being done as we speak or write! Hong Kong agent pleased with us for placing order. No discount yet but hope to secure if first team players are envious of Waldron's Wonders (2nd string) and get order in pretty damn quick. Variation on Many hands making light work......Many bright shirts cheer up players and performance! |

Under 13's final

Well despite trying to avoid a family war by putting the two Albrecht brothers at either end of the draw, they ended up in the final! A grand final it was, with Jack winning the first set 6-4 but certainly not having it all his own way. To prove the point Ollie struck back by going 3-0 up in the second set before Jack began to regain some composure and won two games in a row but Ollie lifted his game again to close out the set 6-3. So, it came down to a final deciding set. I should point out that Ollie is just 9 years of age and giving away 3 years to his elder and bigger brother and Jack used his strength and skill to take control of the match in the final set without dropping a game. So Jack is this year's under 13 top player but Ollie has shown that he will be a force to reckon with in coming years, Well done to both players, there were some excellent rallies and also some really good winning shots with not too many errors. Good stuff! |
