Men's result v. Harbury

A defeat, 0-4! Having said that Nello and I should and probably might have got a result in our rubbers. Having got warmed up we went down 3-6, 6-7 against the 2nd pair. Our first pair of Mike and Clive went down 0 and 1. In the next lot of games Nello and I were phased by the hard hitting younger pair going down 0 and 5. That second set could esily have gone to us as we were 5-2 up! Clive and Mike had lost 2 nd 3 to them. The evening went colder and colder and so did the match for us. Nevertheless, we entertained them and the result card is completed and awaits your collection, along with the keys and monies. 634
