Snitterfield is one of over 100 WI’s in Warwickshire. The headquarters is in Warwick where many other activities are planned of interest to women including the Annual Meeting in March, a big event with very interesting and famous speakers.

Denman College near Abingdon is the WI’s own residential college where members can choose a course from many subjects. These courses are open to non WI
members as well.

The National Federation headquarters are in London and each year a resolution is chosen and the WI supports it and lobbies government. Last year it was related to increasing the number of midwives. This year it is to promote an increase in organ donation.

WI is a perfect way of meeting other women in the village. You are welcome to come as a visitor before you join. Just ring one of the committee members and she will meet you at the meeting and introduce you around. Apart from the monthly meetings there are other social activities going on depending on members interests.

The annual subscription is £41 payable in January and includes 8 issues of the magazine WI Life
