November is the Annual Meeting when committee members are elected or re elected. Judith Walker who has been our President for the last three years is retiring and her place is being taken by Sylvia Morlidge. Judith was thanked for all her hard work during which time we had taken part in the WI Olympics and won the prize for the most participants. Also this year we celebrated our 80th Birthday with a dinner and a very successful craft show. Sylvia has served on the committee previously so will be no newcomer to the office of President. We wish her all success. Two new members are joining the committee Carol Pullen and Jackie Legge. Other news was from the County about Serious Science lectures in the new year and workshops at County house for Log Cabin quilting and Casket Box making. Within our own WI there is to be a Food Tasting and Jewellery sale at Ann Farr`s house.
After the business wine and cheese were served and a jolly social occasion was enjoyed by all!

The next meeting will be the Christmas supper at the Snitterfield Arms on Wednesday December 11th at 7pm.
